There are various ways to help animals and there are various degrees to which people do so. However, in the end, the logical culmination of the animal defender's path is to become vegan. Veganism is far more than a diet. It is an ethical code of conduct, wherein a person acknowledges animals as individual beings with a right to their own lives and then proceeds to live their life being mindful to never directly or indirectly participate in anything that treats animals as commodities to be used or threatens their welfare. Often this requires the individual to be very alert, as animal abuse is well entrenched in everyday human life.
While the Animals' Battalion may work on single issue campaigns and we welcome anyone into the fold who is proactive for animals, irregardless of where they fall on the spectrum of helping animals, we will steadfastly remain adamant in our stance that veganism is inextricable to a life in service of helping animals.
The Animals' Battalion is fully prepared to help any individual who wishes to adopt veganism into their lives.
